Horween's Zug Grain is a heavy weight leather from steer hides that once graced a famous style in our collection, the VELDT. Oxblood Zug is tanned using traditional methods that Horween are most famous for. The word Zug itself, dates back over 100 years and refers to a leather and print that was tanned in Switzerland. Since then, many tanneries have picked up on the type of raw material and the traditional tanning process required to produce this remarkable leather. Its handle is thick, tough and extremely hardwearing. Horween’s Zug Grain is a robust leather that requires considerable breaking in, but once it has moulded to your foot, this is a leather that will last for decades.
